Reflecting on 2025 💫

Hey all,

I hope you've had a great holiday season! Just a quick reflection on this year:

I checked off some major travel bucket list items and couldn't be more grateful. From traveling in Tokyo with for the Sigma BF launch at their headquarters, to getting engaged to my best friend in the place we met - it's a year I'll never forget.

This year I shot less astro than usual and my goal for next year is to get under dark skies a little more. That being said, I'm proud of my progress as an artist this year. One of my goals this year was to get better at my processing; this happened with some private lessons (yeah, I'm still learning too) and the help and feedback of my friends. The result is that my colors are looking a LOT better (in my opinion)!

Before... the sky looked blue! That's not right.

Now... much more accurate!

It was also a great year for brand collaborations with Sony Alpha, Google Pixel, Whitewall Lab, Nikon, and a few others. I'm always so grateful to be able to create projects for these companies which really give me the freedom to share their products with you guys in creative ways.

To all the new creatives I've connected with this year, thanks for inspiring me, especially those in completely different artistic mediums. I have learned that getting to see work from other corners of the art world has been the most impactful on my growth as an artist.

Lastly to all of you who follow my work and support me with your likes, comments, DM's, calendar and print purchases: I wouldn't be living my dream without you. Thanks for believing in me. Here are a few of my favorite astro shots from this year:

I'm wishing you all a wonderful new year; may all your dreams come true (and your skies be clear)!

By the way...

Calendars are still available:

I also added my latest piece to my print shop! This is my most detailed image of the milky way EVER.
